Coffin Hop: Proper Zombie Gear Preparation
Are you sure you are ready to fend off the living dead if they were to attack the world? You can either sit around and wait for the apocalypse to happen or you can gear up and prepare. Zombie gear is not isolated to running around with a gun alone. You want to gather equipment to help protect yourself, others, and to get over any obstacles that may get in your path. The gear presented will help you be mobile and ready to help a group of people if the time comes.
The first piece of equipment you want is something to fight zombies. A crowbar, steel bat, or similar type of weapon can help you fight off zombies. Of course, there's always a gun, but the only problem with this is you need ammunition. Guns are also loud and can give away your location to zombies. Have a knife handy in your zombie gear, as well.
Cover up your neck, arms, torso, and legs. A zombie can obviously bite through your clothes to your skin, turning you into a zombie, but covering can help a bit.
Get a water bottle and portable snacks. Granola bars or something similar is good to carry around. You want food to carry on the go. A water bottle is handy because you can refill it to drink throughout your survival journey. Of course, you'll need to find clean, drinkable water.
Zombie gear is not complete without a mode of communication, such as walkie talkies, to communicate with people you group up with. Carry everything in a backpack.
If you are smart with gear it can help you get off to a good start as you try and survive the horrors that await when zombies attack.
