Very interesting! I love your blog site!
Zombies are so creepy and scary. I love zombie films (Dawn of the dead, the comedy Shawn of the Dead, Land of the Dead). I look forward to reading your thoughts on zombie films some day!

Aren't we all zombies in a way? Modern society is becoming a ground for zombies... We are all following the same goals, etc...

My favorite zombie film is the modern Dawn of the Dead. It's very well done!

Nice article Jolie. Thx for making this "compilation", I haven't seen some of these sites before. I agree with most of what's on the links. But I do have a few objections.

If I may...

Do not use a pocket knife for a survival kit. For a zombie apocalypse please use a trench knife (there are many reasons why and i've listed em all right here: Zombie Knife ).

Also, one of the links... the squido one says to buy a pistol crossbow. I own a pistol crossbow (manual recocking) and it's not as accurate as a real crossbow (you can hit a head size target at 10 to max 15 yards). And they're also not that powerful (they only have 80lb's of pull unlike the real crossbows which always have over 110-120lbs, and there are versions which can kill bears ... there's an article on crossbows here: Zombie Crossbow)

Hard leather clothing is better than motorcycle suits because if it is a good fit it will not constrict your movement as much and also doesn't have "holes" and weak spots in it like for example the motorcycle gloves (which are designed for falls... not bites and slashes)

Also, on a personal experience note. Ready made kits are better than no kits... but please, I urge everyone to make their own kit, with stuff in it that YOU know how to use.

p.s.

Always enjoy the CDC stuff :D.. if you have free time check out their comic about a zombie apocalypse.
